ApolloBot Commands

Everything important in one place. Most people only need a few commands to get started, while server admins get the extra setup controls for buttons, cooldowns, and channel limits.

Public Commands

!ab help
Shows the main help menu.
!ab about
Gives a quick summary of what ApolloBot does.
!ab ping
Checks whether the bot is online and responding.
!ab providers
Shows the supported embed providers ApolloBot can cycle through.
!ab perms
Checks whether ApolloBot has the permissions it needs in the current channel.
!ab status
Shows the current ApolloBot settings for the server.
!ab info <message link>
Shows the stored relay info for an ApolloBot relayed message, including the original user, platform, and current provider.
!ab usage
Shows a platform usage breakdown for the current server based on tracked embed fixes.
!ab ignore on
Tells ApolloBot to stop touching your embeds in this server.
!ab ignore off
Lets ApolloBot start fixing your embeds again in this server.
!ab ignore all
Toggles your personal ignore setting across every server where ApolloBot is active.

Admin Commands

!embedfix on
Turns embed fixing on for the server.
!embedfix off
Turns embed fixing off for the server.
!ab whitelist add #channel
Adds a channel to the whitelist so ApolloBot only works where you want it to.
!ab whitelist remove #channel
Removes a channel from the whitelist.
!ab whitelist list
Shows all currently whitelisted channels.
!ab whitelist clear
Clears the whitelist and resets that part of the setup.
!ab silent on
Hides relay buttons in this server.
!ab silent off
Shows relay buttons again in this server.
!ab togglebuttons on
Enables ApolloBot relay buttons for newly relayed messages in this server.
!ab togglebuttons off
Disables ApolloBot relay buttons for newly relayed messages in this server.
!ab cooldown <1-30>
Changes the relay button cooldown time for this server in seconds.
!ab reset confirm
Resets ApolloBot's server settings back to defaults and clears the whitelist.

Slash Commands

/roll
Rolls dice in standard tabletop format, including modifiers and roll modes like advantage or disadvantage.
/roll dice:1d20
Basic d20 roll.
/roll dice:1d20+6
d20 roll with a modifier.
/roll dice:1d20 mode:advantage
Rolls with advantage.
/roll dice:1d20+4 mode:disadvantage
Rolls with disadvantage.
ApolloBot’s message buttons do some of the heavy lifting too. If one provider fails to embed properly, the original poster can cycle to another provider from the relayed message without reposting the link. Server admins can now fully control whether those buttons appear at all and how fast they can be used.
